How did you take your baby around? Also what's the weather like this time of year?

Weather in London was high 50's but felt colder at times. I could've gotten away with a lighter, less warm jacket but needed that big one for Scotland as it was in the 40's there. We took the baby around in a stroller and a baby carrier. If we knew we'd be taking a cab we would take the car seat with us.  In London we used the tube and things just take a bit longer going up and down the elevators in the stations with a stroller.  The carrier is easier but can be very tiresome if you're planning on being out and about all day. It's helpful to have a stroller with wheels that can maneuver well while there.  For example, on the distillery tour we brought the car seat and the stroller but left the stroller and car seat in their closet by reception during the tour.  Mostly, we walked everywhere and did not schlep the car seat around with us.

Awesome TR.  Due to the bad weather in London when we went, we were limited to outdoor activities, I think it caused minor shalom bayis issues for that trip LOL.  The highlight of our trip was for sure Harry Potter Studios, we didn't really like London so much.  We actually went after Dan posted that Hawaii/California delta glitch which I should have gotten instead of taking my first miles trip to Israel/London.

sorry you didn't enjoy  :( we didn't really go with the highest expectations due to the (un)predictable weather. I missed those tickets because I was on a flight back from Israel that I got thanks to Dan from the $354 Elal stopover glitch. Went to Paris and Israel that time. Man, I love Dansdeals.com

Nice report & looks like you had a great time.

There is actually a sit down restaurant in Scotland called L'Chaim's which is also in Glasgow. I've not been there but its been around a while and is run by the local Chabad rabbi.

didn't know about it at the time. My friends in Edgeware connected us to a childhood friend of theirs that grew up in Glasgow and still visits and he told me Mark's Deli was the only option. Good to know for the future as id love to do Scotland again.
