You have to be able to float the investment long term.  Most offer terms are 6 months long or longer.  Partial payouts start much sooner, but it can be many months before you earn back your full investment plus profit.

Disclaimer: I am a Kickfurther employee. But to answer your question, we are a form of MS. I say this for two mains reasons 1) we allow you purchase on credit and 2) many of the brands working with us are Product Order based. This means that the brands will receive payments from the company that put in the PO after terms of net 60,90, etc, even if the product ordered within the PO hasn't completely sold. I've used my own platform for quite a bit of MS. You'll always see when brands have PO's. The tough part right now is getting into these co-ops as they tend to be filled within seconds (i'm not exaggerating, we have multiple co-ops of various amounts that are filled within 10-20 seconds). Our community has a chance to get in early when the co-ops are in the upcoming phase with Kickfurther Keys. You can get these keys once monthly or for every 3 users you refer. Also we are not an investment because you literally purchase the inventory (through consignment) and thus have legal rights to it should the brand fail. As the brands sell, they follow a schedule to pay you. There is about a 4-6 week grace period because the brands have to receive their inventory from the manufacturers before they are able to physically sell the inventory.

You are right, there could be a time where you would have to take a loss paying your credit card bill. However that is all based upon your discretion because many of the packs used to fund the co-op are priced somewhere between $25-$35. There are of course exceptions to this. Anyways, my point being is that you don't have to spend a lot to get the benefits.

It's not for everyone but I know from the feedback that many members of our community use us for Manufactured Spending. There is also a dedicated group of our users that put significant amounts of money into our platform, they are just doing so for the profit and rarely used credit to purchase. I can help you explore other MS techniques though.

First to answer the searching question, It'll come up if you search for Kickfurther. You can also search the "G-startup Worldwide Top 50 Startups" to read our latest accomplishment.

Now as for how Kickfurther is a form of MS, it's because we allow our community collect rewards from multiples sources with only one form of spending. In this case that form of spending is credit. You collect rewards from the card you choose to use and earn profit from the co-ops you and the rest of the Kickfurther community are supporting. That is why we consider it a form of MS.

This is also why I was said earlier its not for everyone. There is risk involved. As a member of our community, you have the information presented to you so that you can make an informed decision. You'll know the credibility of these small businesses as they'll present relevant information. My favorite part is when the co-ops are Purchase Order backed because then you're buying inventory where some, if not all, is already sold. Like any form of purchasing though, nothing is 100% guaranteed.
