I called the concierge who quoted me the Conrad rate and then simply asked her to connect me to the Jet-Ski place directly.

Once I was connected I negotiated with them directly.
Do have the name and number?

Conrad works with one place. I don't have a name but Id advise to just call them during their AM and ask about the place/to connect you to them.

Tuesday, July 26th, Koh Samui

As this was our last day in Koh Samui we were going to take it easy and had no major activity planned for the day. The  plan was to to head out around 1:15pm in order to make it to the airport an hour early for our 3:20pm flight to Bangkok.

After packing up a bit in the morning - so as to have more time to relax later on - we headed to breakfast. Exiting our room I was even able to do something I did not think Id ever need to, use the Conrad umbrellas they provide at the entrance to every room. It was actually drizzling. Thank God it did not last that long.

What can ya do?!

After breakfast we went down to the water to take advantage of the free Kayaking that they offer their guests. They have 2 Kayaks available including all gear necessary right by the water and it can be used until around 5pm as long as there is high tide (or you can convince them of it  :P).

View from the Kayak

Staring into the High Seas

Fighting Hard

Defeated after-all

My wife didn't help peddle enough so I left her in the ocean

We then dropped the Kayak and the gear back off at the beach and went for the pool to relax for a bit. The sun had come back out at this point and we still had our free drink vouchers to use so we went to quench our thirst.

Yummy Yummy. And guess who made them?

That would be me then..

It was then time to get ready and gather our belongings in order to check-out and head to the airport. But first we had some quick lunch, courtesy of Free Diamond Breakfast

Sadly saying goodbye. Sawadika!

Back at the airport and quickly through security we even had time to take a look at the complimentary snack&drinks stand that Bangkok Airways has for their customers before boarding the plane.

Lucky owns an airline?

And off we were to Bangkok..

Next up: Bangkok to Abu Dhabi..

Wow! Kayaking sounds fun, though I don't think most would consider it relaxing. Cool that they let you make your own drink. They showed you how or you made it up?

It was relaxing as we couldn't didn't go too fast (which was not related at all to my arms still killing me from Jet-skiing). At one point it did get a bit boring but I gave it some "kick" by shaking the Kayak back and forth. Suffice it to say that my wife did not appreciate that.  ::)

They basically showed me how to make it and even let me pour in quite a bit more then the required amount of alcohol.  ;D

Kayaking boots are good for grip when entering and exiting your kayak. Water shoes also have drainage ports to expel water and dry quickly in case water enters the kayak.

Sure did with me. I assume after doing it a bunch of times like my instructor, muscle memory would avoid arms being in as much pain as mine were. Also might have been due to me flying off a few times and fighting hard at times in the choppy water to stay on it while going fast.
