Chip on Windshield of a Rental Car.

Renting a Alamo car through Chase Sapphire Card. Now i have a Chip on windshield. Should i fix the windshield before returning rental car. My insurance Geico says return the car and alamo process the claim. If it is a repair they will pay . if it is a replacement they will invoke comprehensive with deductible.

Sapphire is primary insurance...they will cover ~if~ Alamo even realizes that it's broken...

The car is booked through chase ultimate points website. Do they still cover it.
