CNB is back - 50K this time
« on: August 07, 2016, 03:12:07 PM »
This is the link to the info about the card. It was the first Crystal Visa to be in the USA.

https://www.rbcwm-usa.com/resources/file-862410.pdf

Ignore the RBC thing, all that matters is that CNB has the deal again. Most of you are in the NYC area, so check for CNB branch in Manhattan.

New York- 6th Avenue
1140 6th Avenue
New York, NY 10036
(917) 322-0900

There is no direct link to signup - you must go to a CNB bank branch to signup for it

Are earned Points redeemable for cash?
No. Points are not redeemable for cash. However, Points can be redeemed for a wide variety of travel* and merchandise Awards, including gift certificates. Visit www.cnbrewards.com to view a complete list of available Awards.

The points are redeemable for travel,  or for gift cards.  A $500 VGC or a $500 Amazon card are both 55, 000 points.

The $250 travel credit goes by calendar year.

Travel usually equals cash.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Are you talking about  the points that can be used to purchase travel through CNB,  or for the travel incidentals credit?

Both.

I get the incidentals.  How are you converting CNB points to cash via purchasing travel?   Other than selling the tickets?

Just be aware that they have a very strict and extensive application process. This isn't a get an immediate reply type of thing. They will check income and expect you to make a decent amount.

Yes considering that they asked to see pay stubs for both my wife and me.

Does PGGM work in this? Do we have to use Delta for that?
TIA

what if you don't have pay stubs? Would Bank statements do it?

And anyone know how conservative or if they aren't, for a ton of recent pulls?

This seems like a hassle but then again it is 1000$ dollars...hmm
