Also to lean against the panel for a better nap or sleep.

I prefer aisle for freedom of movement. I like to get up and move around. I'm not one of those people who can sleep 6 hours straight in economy. One time though I missed my flight from Denver to NY so I got rerouted. They sent me to LAX for a connection to JFK so I wouldn't have to spend the night in an airport. On the flight from Denver to LA I got stuck with a window. Turns out it was the most beautiful flight I've ever been on. Clear view of Grand Canyon and other spectacular sights.

So why not go after you put your carryon away, just before you sit in your seat?

Simply easier to go after takeoff from my aisle seat.

If you already have to take a middle it should be from the middle ones so at least no one has to move you to get out

However we Jews do need to get up more. Negel vasser, wash to eat bread (even mezonos rolls according to many), wash to daven, put on tefillin and the list goes on...

I always went window but last time this foul smelling person sat down near me and was asleep within a minute. I had to wait hours till she woke up to stand up & stretch. It was bad enough to make me wanna go aisle.

Always aisle. Need leg room and  I never sleep and am way to restless to be trapped in and have to debate of I should bother the person  again.
