How resource intensive is this? Office (with multiple simultaneous documents) uses up enough resources as it is.

I personally prefer AxCrypt (http://www.axantum.com/axcrypt/) over TruCrypt.

Primarily, I like that AxCrypt allow the encrpytion of individual files where as TruCrypt (from last that I used - quite some time ago), requires you to make a encrypted folder or drive that you place all your files within. It's not that one is better than the other, it's just that I prefer AxCrypt over TruCrypt because of this.

How easy is this to set up? You have to save the EXE online somewhere, since EXE files are blocked by many email services. Is there anywhere that'll host it (publicly) for free?

Stick it in your public dropbox folder.

I've had no issues with it. What I generally do is, if I will repeatedly accessing the remote computer I use LMI, if it is a one off thing then I use TV...

You can always use TV to get one-time remote access so you can LMI

What link?

You mean the 'add computer' link after you log in? What I'm really annoyed about it that they removed the 'users' feature from the LMI free accounts).

If you use the add computer link and download the file that it gives you, that is a customized to your account installer. I have that in my public dropbox and send out that link, when someone installs it, it gets added to my account
