If you use the add computer link and download the file that it gives you, that is a customized to your account installer. I have that in my public dropbox and send out that link, when someone installs it, it gets added to my account :)

Makes sense, thanks :)

Honestly I haven't spent that much time using LMI, but I've always been thrilled with TV.  Yes you have to download an exe but I usually e-mail the D/L link rather than attach the file.  To run once, it's a live run, no installation.  If it's a machine that I have to access frequently you can install it as a background service that opens with windows so I don't even need the person to give me the code anymore, I have a preset admin password.

So when you have multiples of these, can you log onto two of them simultaneously? Is the TV client (not host) experience similar to LMI?

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but there is a presenter mode where you can simply share your desktop.  I haven't actually used that feature so I can't speak about it.

You give people this link http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS_en.exe

And what do you use to access their computer? e.g. go to teamviewer.com and enter the code displayed on the host's computer, or something like that? Or is there a client program that has to be downloaded as well?

1.  Does any one know of a good free HTML editor program?

2.  Does any one know of a good free scan to text program?

TIA!

I thought I added it, but Synergy.

It allows you to control 2 separate computers with 1 Keyboard/Mouse. So say you are working on your desktop and a laptop, or 2 laptops. Instead of reaching back and forth you can just slide the mouse between computers like a dual screen config. Really cool

Why not?

In the minute I looked at it I didn't see that anything is colored...it's all black. Any way to change that?
