Were you ID'ed for alcoholic beverages on a flight?
« on: August 09, 2016, 07:37:37 PM »
Never tried it, but I'm wondering how it went for you.

Age:
How old you look (subjective, I know):
Airline:
Class of service:
What you asked for:
And of course, whether you needed to show ID.

International law does not prohibit the purchase of alcohol of any age...
In duty free I was denied purchasing when I was under age

I got id'd , and even tho I was above age, just for the heck of it, I made a whole show,  "Do you really want me to take down the whole stowaway bin to dig up my license...." And got away with it

No, it was in my carry-on. I always empty my pockets immediately upon boarding😂

I actually empty my pockets into my carry on at the security lines. More efficient than emptying into a tray and then retrieving to put back in pockets.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

+1
But you're still supposed to have your ID and boarding pass with you.

Going from CLE to ORD when I was 17. There was a security breach, everyone had to leave , reenter etc..
When we finally got back on the plane, we were offered alcohol on the house.
Was served without issue

Could have told me that before I flew for the first time. It was a mess.
I'm not who you think I am.

I usually wait until I am at destination, some things actually wait until I get back home.

I obviously leave important items like CC, DL and Passport in an easily accessible pocket.

One of the biggest elements of vacation is when I put keys inside my bag, not to be taken out till I'm back home.

Nothing to do with vacation. Plenty of other reasons for travel. הצד השווה ביניהם is that the keys come out only when back home.

Nah, when I'm away not on vacation I keep my keys with me to remind me of home.
