So I will write the joke for every late night talk show host's monologue tonight. It will have to be about the fact that if the guy wasn't white, they would have shot him.

That being said, if this guy were a gorilla, there'd be an international outcry over the mistreatment he's receiving.

Can someone explain to me why we needed the police to get involved?
Why stop him?
If its trespassing, in any other case of trespassing would they go that far to get someone of a different persons property?

Probably for the same reason the police get involved if someone tries to jump off a bridge or something similar.

Seriously, you can't allow people to do crazy things. There has to be a seder. They didn't just spend all that time and money on him because he was trespassing.

No ones has ever been stopped for parachuting (or other dangerous sports). They both are dangerous if you dont know what your doing and if there is an equipment malfunction.
If someone was hamd gliding on someone elses property we wouldn't send a plane after him to take him out of the air, we'd wait for him to land.
