cell phones
« on: August 10, 2016, 06:46:55 PM »
i didn't find any topic for this, but if there is one, sorry for making a new thread.
whats a good non-wifi cell phone, that takes sd cards.
it doesn't have to be a dumb phone,  but no wifi is a must, because that's yeshivas rules
it could be a smart phone which is a few years old, before wifi was integrated into all phones

I think this might qualify, but there are probably plenty others. I am biased towards real qwerty keyboards.

HTC Freestyle

Blackberry Storm 9500
Blackberry Storm 9530

Palm Centro

Samsung F480
LG KP500 Cookie

Or you could get any smartphone and have one of the filtering organizations remove it.

Similar question:
What well priced cell phone and plan would you recommend for a teenager in Yeshiva
(which restricts internet, wifi etc, just allows calling and text messages).
Doesn't need a qwerty keyboard, if there is an onscreen qwerty typing.
Prepaid/limited use plan is preferred.

What's the problem with the ones mentioned above?

I've been looking into the moto g4 for awhile (especially with the amazon ads), but people say it has issues with its life.
I'm not who you think I am.

I'm on sprint and my phone broke. What is the cheapest phone (after everything) I can get to work with my sprint plan in the meantime until I get a new phone?

I think cell phone cameras should have built in little covers under the glass that open and close when using so I can stop using these little black stickers.

I've been covering my comp camera for years. Only more recently did I stick a small black sticker on my phone. Why take the chance?

I'm not too worried about it but at the same time I feel like I'd be silly not to.
