The BOE believes that the fact that the State loaned money to Lakewood - which is only legal if it's the only way T&E can be provided - is enough proof that the funding formula has to be fixed, and there is no reason to say that the students of Lakewood are getting an inadequate education.
Basically, you don't need to claim a lack of T&E in order to prove that the formula is broken. Relying on loans for T&E is sufficient to prove the point.
Even if true, why not let Lang also fight from another angle?
Other then Inzelbach looking good that he is providing Piners pride, at the expense of all the private parents, why insist that they ARE providing adequate education?
You should rather argue (Lang), that they can't provide a proper education.
And then have a 2ND ARGUMENT (Boe), that even the education they are providing is only because the state lends tens of millions.
But why fight like a baby that you are providing a proper education?? Unless you grew up and went to piners school, and have a need for piners pride.
