If by have you mean heavy I'd say no. But it's all relative, it's heavier than a netbook but lighter then the older dells. The aluminum weighs a bit. But for an average guy it should be no biggy to haul around..

I'd recommend going for dell - my customer support experience with them wasn't great (my order got delayed a week, and then they shipped it ground instead of next day air, which they had promised - on the other hand, they did give me enough credit in their online store for me to buy a nice case, computer fan, and an extra USB flash drive), but I was very happy with what I got.

I would suggest going into the business line of computers (I got a vostro). They're cheaper, and they come with less junk programs. Also, if you want an extended warranty, you can get one for less than half the price (I think their full 3-year warranty was something like $130, compared to the usual $300). And I got the specs I wanted, when I would have paid about $400 more from any other company.

If you still are looking for a good laptop under $700
I would suggest the dell XPS 15

I dont think you're wrong.. I just didnt notice.

What do you mean by 'mobile broadband capability"? Connect to your wifi (practically all laptops) Or one that you can insert a SIM for internet? (only a select few)

Any insight or review on this laptop?
https://www.costco.com/lenovo-ideapad-slim-7i-pro-14%22-touchscreen-intel-evo-platform-laptop---11th-gen-intel-core-i7-11370h---2880-x-1800---windows-11.product.100794401.html

Looking for a high performing device that will last at least 5 years. I like that it's an i7 core, not sure what the Evo platform is however. Portability is also important and it seems like this model is very lightweight.

HUGE thread over here https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=11287.0

I know it's misleading tech talk vs. deals but talk to the powers that be.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.
