Please, guys. I have taken Megabus as recently as two or three years ago. Every time I convince myself that it's a great deal, I always regret it. There's just no good reason for it. So you got a ticket for $1? Big deal. You saved 60 or 70 bucks on something that you would never pay 60 or 70 bucks for. Just stop this foolishness is all I'm saying. There are impressionable n00bs watching.

Anyone have sample dates? Is it only NY to Baltimore? Or also the other way?

When I racked up my 110K WNRR I would maximize by flying out of BWI and therfore take the bus a lot from NY. Although it was either Bolt/Greyhound as they are located right near the BWI light rail line. Megabus is to far from BWI and no public transportation.
That being said, IMO this is/was a good deal. I'd rather bus for 3-5 hours for a $1 than use mileage, even avios.

For 3-5 hours is a different story. These guys were talking about Chicago to NYC which is 18 hours!

A 3-5 hour bus ride may actually be shorter than the same distance flown after all is said and done.
