I had a gold and green, the green w/o addnl users, the gold w/ 2 addnl users, when i used the link to upgrade, i was offered for both, so i did both, i got 25k points on both, i received Platinum cards for my self and for all addnl users (w/o any request.),

i was only charged a prorated charge on the old Gold only one charge (i m in my first year of gold), not on the old Green, now i would like to understand the followings

1) is there a way to get addnl. users on a Platinum w/o charge,
2) is there a Platinum for $90, and whats the difference,
3) how come i wasn't charged for the old green at all
4) is the $200 Airline cr. per account or card - per account
5) if i need to downgrade how fast could i upgrade when needed
6) where could i find the link to all the free launches

is any one familiar with Platinum charges / rules?
1) as per Card Agreement all Charges most be for Business even from Addnl users, so all must be workers?
2) as per Card Agreement gift cards are excluded from this $20 cr., so whats is actually called "incidental air travel fees"

Upon review, it seems I spoke to soon. Looks like I was charged $225, which means it was for Plat, not Gold.

I dont understand, is the fee for the difference btwn the BRG fee and the plat?
is it refundable/prorated if canceled within 60 from upgrade or do they count from BRG start?

So as of now we only have one member who said that his friend told him that we was charged the fee, - which could be either, 1) as AJK was, mistaking with the Plat fee, or 2) he's not within the first year of Gold membership.

Or maybe he has extremely unlucky friends.

Not sure what his fee was, he doesn't seem to be too sure himself. He certainly is within one year though. Will report back when I downgrade my own card.

Had a PRG, paid AF, after 8 months of having the card I upgraded to a platinum card. So amex reimbursed me $30 for the original PRG AF. Now I got the 25k for upgrading to a platinum. I see in my statement a charge of $75 for "Annual Membership".

What is that Annual Membership? Why is it only $75?

Why did you pay the AF in first place? Isn't the PRG supposed to be free for the first year?
