I tried the airline credit and it did not work automatically. I have not chatted with AMEX requesting the credit yet though.

You probably won't get the airline credit twice because the credit card number stays the same the whole time and so the statements are continuous even though the card has changed. So the first $200 credit will still show on the statements and they probably will not give you a credit again, but YMMV.

So I was solicited for the Gold Business card for 75k points with 5k spending. In the email it says it will expire on Oct 6. When I click the link, it says it is expired. There is no RSVP code in the email and all calls to AMEX are speaking with people who cannot help. I would love to get this promo and then upgrade to platinum. Anyone know how I can get AMEX to honor the promo they sent me? (I would love to resolve this today so that I can do a 2browser application and get the spg promo aswell)

Try the chat feature. It may allow them to get files.
You can also just apply and fight it after and send them an email with the proof.

I believe if you just select the SM option online, it will bring up a chat window. You can also search on ddf for the link.

I just completed going from GOLD-PLAT-GREEN. I would like to “restart the clock” but have no other card that is linked to these MR points I have earned through this process. What is the best card to open or are there any other options that will allow me to maintain these  points and allow the “clock” to start ticking again?
