2 Bochurim from stolin camp lost in Bear Mountains, as of now park rangers searching.

A search is underway at Bear Mountain State Park in Upstate NY for two missing Yeshiva Bochurim.

The two boys from Stoliner Camp, both 16-years-old, were on a hike on Thursday, but somehow got separated from their group.

The search which is being coordinated by Chaveirim of Rockland County and the Misaskim Organization, has gathered dozens of volunteers at Bear Mountain. The search was launched around midnight – early Friday morning.

The NY State Parks Police is on the scene as well.

As of this morning they only wanted trained volunteers to come search; there are around 50 frum trained hikers searching plus the local police. As the morning goes on they are allowing more and more people to search even if your not a trained hiker, but they also said they don't want to flood the forest with volunteers, they want to be able to spot the 2 boys if they are seen from the helicopter.

They took a different route & lost their way. Thank g-d they're ok.

They got out of the woods on to a road themselves and found a person, and they called.

U/D: They don't have them yet face to face, only a phone call was made they are in middle to locating them, but they are safe bh.

Update: they have still not been located, all they know is which trail they're on. The cellphone they called with appears to be dead as they are getting Voicemail. Chaverim sending in multiple search crews to walk that trail.

They called with a hikers phone, they have no idea exactly where they are. They just know the trail color, so seach crews heading  thru that trail....... all they know is that both are alive and over the phone appear to be in healthy condition
