Reckless and disgusting.

I find it hard to believe that the mother deliberately left her child in a hot car. Other articles on this incident have not specified that. In almost all cases it is a tragic situation of forgetting the baby there, something that can actually happen to anyone

The implication of her question "where is my baby" is that she expected the baby to still be in the car where she left it.

Or that she had just remembered that her baby was in the car and ran out in a panic only to find an empty car

Nobody seems to report it was an accident:

Where do any of these articles say anything about deliberate? I don't know what really happened, but all of these articles can refer to a situation where she left the baby in car by accident, but realized at some point, perhaps when she came back out...

We had this discussion before and not everyone believes it can happen to anyone. I find it hard to believe she forgot about the child when she had other children with her.

THe other children may have been the reason it was left behind. If they distracted her when coming out of the car I can see how it can happen.

As usual we are thinking the complete opposite. I don't care how distracted you are how do you forget how many kids you brought with you? Is this a Jewish thing where they have so many kids they can't keep track of all of them?  :P

The baby probably fell asleep and she didn't want to wake up the baby so she left it for "only" 20-40 minutes.

Can't say since I never experienced it, but I can see how it can happen that an older one is driving her crazy and she forgets to take one out of the car seat. Especially if the baby kept her up all night long.

I sure hope that is not the case.

To say that it can't happen to anybody I think is ignorant. If you read articles about people it's happened to, it's pretty clear.
However those stories all end with a parent having a realization that the kid is in the car and hectically running to the car to find the child. It seems pretty clear that that's not what happened here
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

That is a possible interpretation of her where is my baby question although those there at the time seem not to have understood it that way according to the articles.
