I redeem between 15-20 million annually. So this is a massive devaluation for me. I will definitely recalculate and probably spend elsewhere.

Of course, the rebates work per card. You can also open another cent card.

Not for the platinum anymore, not for quite a few years ime. They say it's per MR account. Even chat logs of their reps telling me it's per card were not enough for them to rebate more after crossing the 1m threshold.

IME I did not get per card, only per MR account.

Nope, per primary card. Of course the platinum would only be 35% and coach is restricted. How many points do you redeem per year?

Maybe cent cards are different, but ABP rebates are capped per MR account - not per card.

Until now if you had a cent connected to your MR account all your flights were 50% back no cap. So it was never applicable

That's an easy CFPB or SCC win. Did you try?

I went to the CFPB and lost. Closed after Amex's response, which didn't address the chat logs. I realized that most of the disputed amount was recovered by the business gold 250k rebate so I didn't pursue it further.
