For 2 & a half years now, I have been eating out and getting takeout to the tune of hundreds (sometimes thousands) a month using the PYB program at 1.5x, which I consider a fair value for the points (I don't travel enough to use my annual points accumulation). Now that this is over, other than paid travel (again, not enough), where else is the value in keeping a CSR open?
same here. guess we'll have to wait and see..

For me, only PP restaurants.

Might be better off with the Ritz card in that case.

I'd love to get one, but I'll have to wait a year to do a product change. I inquired on the RC thread if anyone were willing to add me as an AU. Will see if anyone is interested. That C1 Venture X change in the PP restaurant policy wasn't good at all.

Does the primary cardholder need to be one of the travelers to be eligible for trip cancellation insurance?

From the Guide of Benefits:
Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance The Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption benefit provides reimbursement for Eligible Travel Expenses charged to the Cardholder’s Account up to ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars per Covered Person and up to twenty thousand ($20,000.00) dollars per Trip, if a loss results in cancellation or interruption of the travel arrangements.

The Cardholder and Immediate Family Members are covered when the Cardholder’s name is embossed on an eligible Card issued in the United States, and the Cardholder charges all or a portion of a Trip to his or her Credit Card Account and/or Rewards programs associated with the Account. Immediate Family Member means an individual with any of the following relationships to the Cardholder: Spouse, and parents thereof; sons and daughters, including adopted children and stepchildren; parents, including stepparents; brothers and sisters; grandparents and grandchildren; aunts or uncles; nieces or nephews; and Domestic Partner and parents thereof, including Domestic Partners or Spouses of any individual of this definition. Immediate Family Member also includes legal guardians or wards. Immediate Family Members do not need to be traveling with the Cardholder for benefits to apply.

Is the text in red not contradictory?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

the annual fee is $250 after the $300 back so it’s $155 more than the preferred so if you have any value worth that much than it’s already worth to keep

Anyone know if travel benefits (trip cancellation, lost or delayed baggage, trip delay, travel accident insurance) apply to any airline ticket booked on the card - or only for cardholder? (I haven't received the welcome package yet and I wouldn't mind if my MIL would book her upcoming airline tickets on my card.)

Anyone know if Air Canada gift cards will still count toward the $300 travel credit refund?

I booked a ticket to Israel for a nephew of mine but he won’t be able to make it due to an illness in his family. Trying to figure out trip interruption insurance. Looking at Chase.com it says that only the card holder and immediate family members are covered.

Is a nephew an “immediate family member”?

ETA: Yes

I had a flight cancelled due to the outage. I booked with CSR and they said that I can get up to $500 per pax. I am filing the claim with them and they are asking if I filed with DL. DO I have to? When I clicked no it said that it might affect the claim

IME yes they will deny unless you file first with the airline. If airline denies or doesn't cover fully, they will kick in. But don't wait till you get an answer from DL, you may have to file with CSR right away.

Others can report their experiences.
