Chase has nothing to do with coding.
And vast majority of people prepaying are getting it as travel.
My first ezpass auto replenish were counted as travel. I'm sure Chase had something to do with the change.
If you don't care why would you comment?

You need your passport, licence, and letter of conditional acceptance.
You should know your name, address, DOB, and which side is right and left.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

And if you've ever been arrested or fingerprinted by a government agency, they'll know about it. You might also get quizzed if you've visited the Middle East, Cuba, etc.

Thanks a lot. So I don't need to know custom laws? How long should it take me from walking into terminal till done (my appt is Erev Shabbos)?
Also, I've been to Israel. What will they ask me?

Usually takes ~5 minutes.

Israel shouldn't be an issue.

They won't quiz you on customs laws, but you need to be mindful of them. It only takes one customs mistake to have Global Entry revoked.

They ask you standard questions. My family and extended family have all been through this. No knowledge of custom laws is needed. They asked if I have traveled out of the country recently or do I plan on traveling. Where I work. Have I been convicted of a crime. DW they didn't really ask her anything. It is a piece of cake.
"LESS IS MORE" It is the cumulative effect that kills deals!!! How many times do I have to say this?  >:(

Ouch. I did mine on a layover. Unless you're a very frequent flyer, spending a couple hours to get Global Entry on a non-travel day negates a big chunk of the time G.E. will save you. But with the interview backlogs at many airports, I guess people have to do what they have to do.

You're prob right. I'm not a frequent flyer at all but I want to use the Reserve credit and I hope that I can just keep renewing without interview again. Do you know if they usually require interview to renew?

It's hit or miss; seems to depend somewhat but not entirely on countries visited. Five years from now, though, if they do require another interview, one would hope you'd be able to just renew during a trip. The current backlogs are hurting the program.

I would posit that the few hours spent now to save 20 minutes in security by having precheck (which is automatic with GE) and making a flight you'd otherwise miss is a good enough reason, before adding any other considerations.
Re customs - I was once busted with an apple from Israel, they brought it up in my interview, with a stern warning.

True point about PreCheck. Forgot about that.

Wow about the Apple.
