can someone upgrade once a year from the freedom to the csr, use the $300 travel credit right away, and then downgrade without paying the annual fee?

It technically seems so. Although that doesn't mean you won't get flagged and be shut down . And we'd probably have to wait for '17 for a possible proper DP anyway.

I really don't think the risk is worth $300.

Used the AWD for Avis that comes with this card and it lowered my rate by about $25 over a 3 day rental.

Why is my Priority Pass card not coming?
How long is it taking others until it arrives?

I was told that if you pay with the reserve card for the lounge that accept Priority Pass. Chase will reimburse you 2 times a year. I am waiting for the card for around 3 weeks.

I just called Chase. They said they see I requested the PP card online and it should arrive in a few days.

After the card arrives, are we allowed unlimited lounge access or only twice a year?

Unlimited as long as your CSR is not canceled.

After much back and forth and showing Chase the Secure message state AU's will get $100 for Global Entry.
I have been denied by the supervisor. the response was the terms of the application are $100 per 4 or 5 years, regardless of what the SM says

How does booking travel through the Chase website to get 1.5 compare to Expedia or other travel websites?

If I book travel through the Chase website and subsequently cancel without penalty do I get the point back or an actual monetary credit on my credit card? Tnx.

Any reason why a quick $300 EZ-Pass one time payment wouldn't work? I see on the EZ-Pass website you can make a one time payment. Seems like the easiest way to do a quick travel spend if you're not planning any travel for the rest of the year.

Wondering about this as well. What happens to cancelled hotel reservations? I'd guess they would deposit your points back in your account but I'm not sure. The same question applies to the Citi Thank You points.

Recent experience.  The cash price on Chase was the same. And I got it for pts at a 1.5 cent value.
