in regards to ezpass auto reload
i chated to supervisor and he replied
The three $__ Ezpass Prepaid charges on your November 20,
2016 billing statement were classified by the merchant as
government service charges which is why you correctly
received 1% rewards for these purchases. As a one-time
exception, we have added ___ bonus reward points to your
account for the extra 2% rewards on these three purchases.
These reward points are available immediately.

We should make a stink about this. The T&C clearly includes tolls. They obviously recoded EZpass sometime in the last month in order to avoid awarding the credit.

Chase has nothing to do with coding.
And vast majority of people prepaying are getting it as travel.
