According to the Internet,  if you charge entry to your csr card they'll refund upon request if you were a member.  Absolutely unverified
I spoke to a csr who confirmed this

Is there a thread that discusses what spending triggers the travel credit?

1. Chase will refund participating lounge entrance fees 2x per rolling 12 month period. It sounds like each charge could be up to $100. I thought I lost my card and spoke to a rep on Wednesday about this.

2. I know Wingtips in JFK T4 and Virgin America Loft in LAX T3 are fine if you have membership # and expiration, but YMMV.

I would posit that the few hours spent now to save 20 minutes in security by having precheck (which is automatic with GE) and making a flight you'd otherwise miss is a good enough reason, before adding any other considerations.
Re customs - I was once busted with an apple from Israel, they brought it up in my interview, with a stern warning.

My friend's GE application was denied for an apple on his record (which he didn't disclose on the app.)!

I think I recall reading that under a certain age can go through with parents.

Precheck kids can go with parents. For GE kids need their own.

Was told that the credit card number isn't going to change I wonder what would happen if I did some of the spending on my current card (once my account online says it was upgraded)
