Was told that the credit card number isn't going to change I wonder what would happen if I did some of the spending on my current card (once my account online says it was upgraded)
It should work.

Of course you can.

Just upgraded my wife's CSP to the CSR and now we get 2 credits for precheck does anyone know if kids go free through precheck or if they also need to sign up?

Kids 12 and under can accompany a parent into the Precheck line, but kids can't use Global Entry lines/kiosks unless they have G.E.

Hi

Round trip for wife and  our young child was booked with CSR and was supposed to return yesterday morning from Canada but early morning of yesterday, my mother in law suddenly fell down and some bleeding and was taken by ambulance to emergency room and  docs said  her mother had blood clot in her brain and high blood pressure.
I had to cancel my wife's flight because she can't leave when her mom suddenly experienced serious health issue. I called Chase who called the airline and I too called and the fee for refund or credit was  double the price of a flight ticket so I had to cancel. I called CSR benefit dept and they  emailed me some forms to send back.

My question is, what can she file claims for beside the trip cancelation due to sudden health issue with immediate family member?
Can she charge her cards for food and grocery and travel until she is able return back and get credited?

Thanks

Amazing how thoroughly the travel credit is coded. I wanted to check how much I need to do and all I realized is that I used them up already from routine stuff!!

Found pretty good tickets to Israel with Ukranian Airlines on Kayak.  When I want to book those tickets with CSR points, they are showing up $100 more per ticket on the ultimate rewards site.  I called Chase travel rewards and they explained that they only go by what the airline is selling the tickets for.  In this case, the points are not exactly worth 1.5 as your paying a premium for the ticket ebacuse you aren't buying through a travel booking site like Kayak or priceline.   Anyone have any thoughts/advise on this?

you got 100K when you upgraded from CSP to CSR?
I was expressly told by the rep that I will not get the bonus.

You booked using points or an actual revenue ticket?

Do the price comparison based on what you can actually get the tickets for.
CSR site vs Kayak vs airline points.
