Just double checking that I'm doing the best option as I can sell my chase points for 1.4

6 tickets to Israel on Orbitz $4236 (302,571 points @ 1.4) + earn 12,708 points travel category 3 points/dollar

6 tickets to Israel on chase travel site $4530 (302,000 @ 1.5)

I would HUCA until an agent can get the same price for you. They should be able to - happened to me before and they were able to get it but YMMV.

You booked using points or an actual revenue ticket?
CSR points, the benefit dept  told me  it is treated as if it is paid directly with card itself.

I read the entire benefit guides https://www.chasebenefits.com/sapphirereserve   and still not sure if the immediate family member is supposed to part of the trip.

Was wondering if any benefits apply if you had to cancel your trip because of an emergency medical issue with your parent? The parent is not traveling and not booked for this trip. I just went to meet my parent and on my return date she got seriously ill and was admitted to emergency room and now I am not sure when I can return because it will be at least few days.

Had some experience with delay but not medical.

reading through it looks like you would only be covered for cancellation/change fee expenses but not food etc

Idk about the CSR, I would assume its the same as the Ritz though (visa infinite). The Ritz does include immediate family members for reimbursement

Has anyone realized that Chase has some massive discounts when booking Hotels on their site? For example I was looking at Hyatt Ziva Cancun on some dates they can be 200 less then the cheapest rate I found.

It's a totally different membership so Yea, just call chase and they'll send it to you, I think you can also do it online IIRC.

Avis Preferred from USAA, National Executive from Amex Plat, no point in doing anything with those, correct?

DATA POINT & Question:
Got my CSR in OCT.
MON 28 NOV signed up wife for CSR for $4K for 100K.
Received it today, 30 NOV & statement closing date is 11 DEC & Due Date is 08 JAN.
So, DEC Statement Date is still possible for CY16 $300 Travel Benefits.
But, what's most lucrative travel benefits to buy & sell as I have no travel available to purchase?
My SWA GC I bought on my card seem to have little interest.
Any ideas....

The going rate for SW is 80%. Sell the credit straight up for 90%, and someone will use it to book a ticket.

Any news on whether or not they will allow you to access a PP lounge without a ticket?

As always, YMMV, but I've never visited a landside PP lounge without being asked for a boarding pass.
