if you read, they didn't want to give me anything, NONE. Not even the original canceled flight.  I'd be satisfied if they just refund me for the canceled flight. They asked me how I eventually returned. I told them i booked my own flight on AA and paid myself and showed them the reservation that shows I booked the return flight on BA website on AA flight. They twisted that and lied to me by saying that return flight that I booked by myself was booked by AC for me. The way they booked for me was AC, reused my CSR points and booked an AA flight on BA website.    They are making up nonsense stuffs and playing games to deny.

Let's see how me complaint with Chase goes. I had to contact chase exec office cos the benefit dept is just being too dishonest!

Had a similar situation. However after reading the fine print and speaking to many employees both at Chase and the Benefit Admin.  You are only entitled to compensation for the non refundable canceled return fare. AC should refund the taxes on that ticket if you ask for it. The rest should be given by Chase. In received a payout after I a canceled a return fare for 5 passengers. I too asked for compensation on the rebooking. I didn't get it. You either get the canceled fare or the change fee to change the ticket. You don't get the canceled fare + the cost of a new return flight.
To date, the CSR has paid out $700 in travel insurance and $180 in purchase protection. Definitely keeping this card.

I had once a claim regarding a flight, Travel Guard "paid" me within 6 weeks, Chase took close to 4 months.

Refund of taxes? Are you kidding me? This for a round trip NYC>TLV is about $98 (Fuel is refundable is the ticket is)

Regarding the he Luxury Hotel & Resort CollectionSM "Benefit" Do you have to book the hotel through the chase website and have a paid stay in order to receive the benefits? Or can we just flash the car and reap the rewards?

Is this true you need to spend about $3,333 on travel and dining per year to wipe out the rest of that annual fee after the $300 travel credits?

You will be able to use $300 credit in 2017 and another $300 for 2018 before your second AF comes due

Year 1 is
$450
-$1,500
-$300
-$300
=-$1,650.

Are you asking about year 2?
How do you value being able to redeem Chase points at 1.5CPP? What card are you comparing the 3x points against?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Are you dumb, slow, stupid or all 3?! You pay $450 in January 2017. You get back $300 in the year 2017, and then another $300 in 2018. Then when your card hits the 2nd year you close it! That's besides the 100,000 bonus points!

You wait until the credit posts then cancel.

Yes year 2 they would give again 300 even if i cancelled?
I understand the value can be high at 1.5CPP but many times I just used airline points that i transferred from UR for example southwest, or just purchased the ticket direct because was a good low fare.
Also don't do ton of eating out a year and have other cards that give 2x points on dining so really just one extra point.
