Hi! I booked a ticket with my CSR.  Price of the ticket went down by $100 is there sort of Price PRotection with airline tickets ?

Check the cancellation policy with the booking site. You might be able to cancel and rebook.

Anyone have a recent data point regarding AU's getting refund credit for global entry? I'm already getting it for me and my wife on each of our primary cards, hopefully before our trip to Israel in August. But if I don't get it for my kids, I won't be able to use it on this trip anyway. I'd get it for them too if I was getting reimbursed, but it sounds like it's for sure not automatic, and I'd probably have to fight with them on it - maybe even not getting the credit at all in the end.

Nope.
Well, supposedly you don't but a while back there were reports that people did. I personally wouldn't risk it.

why not
Meaning I'll have the precheck benefit, but I won't be able to go through customs using the kiosks because I have to go through the regular lines for my kids anyway.

It'll be regular lines for immigration but for Customs I've gone through with someone who has Global Entry before I had my own.

What type of restaurants qualify for 3x points? I see BNG and Chocolatte in Flatbush don't get it.

I think it needs to be a real restaurant (TFusion, The Loft, Bordeaux, Cafe Renaissance, etc). Others (cafes, fast foods; etc) are YMMV

I wouldn't be so sure about that.  I've gotten 3x on fast food and even a vending machine!
