I have to apologize here for writing about this few times and being wrong! Just realized that I did get 2nd year credit on Jan 2017 statement.

I knew this only after checking my Jan & Feb statement.
peace123,
Log into your Chase account and click on UR.  Then choose SR.  On that page you'll see your YOUR REWARDS DASHBOARD  use of the $300 Annual Travel Credit.
It has a ribbon with the year and the amount used.

family member had to cancel non-refundable Broadway musical play tickets due to one of the family members going to hospital and cancelling her trip to nyc.  Chase is saying play tickets are not covered.  Any other options?

I guess chase is correct?

You can certainly try. IINM people have reported both ways.

When did they start to allow you to refer others with this card? 10K per referral and max 50K a year.

Booked 4 tix to EY using rewards points via SR.  Is the trip insurance from the card the same as a basic Travelex plan?  I assume the apt I am renting would not be covered as its not via SR?  Thanks.

I tried several times to book the Prima Palace through the ultimate rewards program. Reps keep saying that it's not part of the program, and that they cannot add hotels as a third party vendor controls the list. They will put in a request to add this hotel.

Forgot to cancel card after year...AF charged 10/1, so I missed the 30-day window. If I downgrade does it get pro-rated, or did I just mess up completely, get the $300 travel credit for 2018 and take the $150 hit?

Any other options?

To clarify, "billing" means statement closing date that shows the fee (not when the fee posts on the 1st of the month).
So, the way I understand it, you have 30 days from the close of the statement in which the AF is billed.
Call to cancel today and ask if you are still eligible for a full refund of the AF. You may be.

Iv'e had the the CSR since January 2017 and added my wife as an authorized user. Our fee, therefore, is $525 per year.  Shortly after the we got the card we used the $300 travel credit and TSA Pre-check credit. We spend around $25,000 a year on the card and about $2000 per year on travel dining, so throughout the past year we have accumulated 30,000 points.  When we do travel, it is usually on Southwest, which means that we are traveling through smaller airports that do not have lounges. Do you think that it is worth it to keep the card open for next year?

Waste paying for the authorized user. Just ask for a plastic version and have your wife use that. It works for me.

What's the plastic version just the same thing with a plastic card instead of metal?
Do you get PP with the plastic version?

If you put that many miles on a southwest card, what would it be worth to you? Maybe you don't need this card at all.

How does one actually go about getting the National Executive status? I signed up with the Infinite code, but my account still seems to be standard Emerald Club.

You don't get national executive status with the CSR. You can use the infinite code for perks when renting, but it doesn't give you status.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.
