You don't get national executive status with the CSR. You can use the infinite code for perks when renting, but it doesn't give you status.

Lol, I stand corrected. I never realized it, I guess I never needed it being that I was already EE. Thanks!

1. If I downgraded my Reserve card and now upgrade again will I continue to be on the grandfathered to have the $300 travel credit by calendar year or it’ll be cardmember year?

2. Can I upgrade, get the $300 credit and downgrade again?
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)

What  I meant upgrading and downgrading several times to avoid fees, Chase shut down a friend of mine for doing this without any notice, if I misunderstood your question, my apologies.

Ok thx. You understood correctly. But I was just asking if it works. From what you wrote I assume it works but puts me at risk of shutdown. Correct?

Anyone else have data points on trying this?

Anyone have luck recently with lowering the credit line on the Reserve, and get the AF returned?

I’m closing down my CSR in a about a month, I don’t plan on traveling at all before that. So I can’t make use of the 1.5 for travel, any advice on what I should do with my 20k points? Any better options than just using it for cash back? My only other chase card is a freedom, should I transfer my points to that card?any advice?

Yes transfer them to the Freedom and then you can use/sell them at a later date (maybe you’ll upgrade back to CSR or another card that’ll allow you to transfer to airline miles)

Does anyone know about this,
"Discount air
Save $100 when you book a qualifying itinerary for 2 to 5 travelers."

Does it apply to the Reserve, it is supposed to be for all Infinite cards, how do I get it?

It's a benefit of visa infinite cards. The CSR is not included, but the RC card is.

Yes, but not sure if it'll work until the exp date or if it just takes some time for PP to get the message that its no longer active.
