Purchase tickets thru Chase portal (points) and used Sapphire for .01 cent. Does that give me coverage (such as with award tickets) or will they claim that its technically a revenue ticket and didnt use Sapphire for the ticket purchase?

I believe that if you purchase tickets through the UR portal they give you the coverage you’d receive from your best UR card, whether you pay the 1 cent or not.

Is that the same if I I booked a car rental through Chase UR using Chase reserve points. Is insurance and everything covered the same as if I paid with the reserve itself?

Should be very easy. Collect the documents they request, wait for approval, get a check in the mail. Could take a while though.

Should be very easy... Did you ever do a claim with Chase?

My luggage was mistakenly taken by someone else at the airport. After discovering his error , he is bringing it back to the airport and the airline is delivering it to my house later today.

Is this considered "baggage delay" that is covered by CSR?

(Will be delivered more than 6 hrs after the flight...)

Allianz considered it a delay when I had the same story once

Certainly not true, as I’ve had my insurance covered by my credit card every time I rented a car there

The terms and conditions on the websites of all rental car companies in IL says that 3rd party liability is mandatory, and the cc only covers collision. Which is correct?

So, basically, there's no way around the 3rd party insurance, as they state? Can travel agents, etc. get a cheaper rate on insurance?

They can get good rates and service in general.
