Quick Question:

My statement closed for 2019 on December 24th. That day I purchased a 150$ GC from delta but I forgot to use their desktop site as dan suggests I. Order to get credit for my travel credit but chase did not give me the refund. Is there anyway I can get this resolved. I had exactly 150$ left for the year and I don’t want the GC if it won’t count towards the travel.

Thanks

Desktop rule never applied to sapphire reserve. Credit should post as soon as the charge posts.

Depending on when charges batch, you might have missed the cutoff.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think transfers count towards the comp pass anymore

Do you have the sw cc? Then you could spend 10k on it and get the points.

Thanks for the insight.

I purchased a parking credit in the city the same day and that got credited. Any reason the GC would not if purchased the same day?

As I said, batching. If delta didn't batch the payments until after the statement closed, it's possible it would hit the next one. It's also possible that what we you did didn't code as travel.

Return protection never left the CSR. Dunno what all these bloggers are talking about.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi all!
could anyone confirm whats stated in the wiki that the $300 statement credit for travel-related purchases is for each calendar year? because chase closed down my acct. in March and they are denying crediting me the $300 even i spent from Jan. that amount since i received it in Oct. they claim its for each anniversary year!

my second year on the Reserve card. I would like to close it down. I believe the the annual fee is Pro rated if i cancel in middle of the year. That being the case, if I use the $300 travel credit up now and then close out the card will they charge me back for that travel charge?
