If we are allowed to purchase essentials due to delayed luggage & both the airline (Swiss Air) and CSR cover up to $100 a day, should we file a claim with the airline or CSR?

CSR will ask what the airline covered, so go with airline first. Unless you spent >$100 day, then file both.

Can I pay for part of my flight with my credit card to get the perks?
For example book on chase.com with my UR and then leave over $10 to pay with my credit card? Will that allow for me to get coverage for a delayed flight? Lost baggage? Canceled flight? Seats, bags.. and etc?

Or does the full ticket amount need to be on the cc?

Not just with this chase united card, would it be the same with the CSR card?

I believe that if your book with UR you get the same benefits as booking using your CC.

Booked family of 5 tickets on chase preffered
Lost one luggage
Chase covers up to 3k per person. Does that mean. They will cover up to 15k of items lost ?
Do I understand correctly that we need to replace items and submit receipts In order to make the claim? What happens if
It gets denied :(
Do claims normally go through easily? And how long does it take these days?
Also it seems like they want receipts of the lost items too? Is that correct ? I don't think I have receipts for most things
One more question. They want proof of airline denial but airline is taking time to respond all together.
Has anyone had experience with this to help?
Thanks!

When using the portal to book, if I use a diffrent credit card, airline branded CC  that has benefits will I still be eligible to receive those benefits?

Does the Sapphire Reserve 1.5 reimbursement work for charges that were done within the 90 days, if charged on a regular Sapphire card?
ie, book flights on a regular Sapphire card, then downgrade it to Freedom, and then apply for the Reserve - will I then be able to apply the credit retroactively to the charge that was done on the Sapphire card?

Southwest flight got canceled, they did not rebook me. I really can just drive, with the Chase travel delay benefit, cover me if I rent a car and drive instead?

Did anyone notice that Chase Added More “Pay Yourself Back” Categories, like groceries and supermarkets and more on the Sapphire Reserve?

For 2 & a half years now, I have been eating out and getting takeout to the tune of hundreds (sometimes thousands) a month using the PYB program at 1.5x, which I consider a fair value for the points (I don't travel enough to use my annual points accumulation). Now that this is over, other than paid travel (again, not enough), where else is the value in keeping a CSR open?

It’s unclear if dining will be downgraded too
