Don't know if this was posted elsewhere, but Avis has a promotion of renting twice, and getting a free day coupon to use anytime.
The way it works is, any two day rental qualifies, and after two rentals a coupon is e-mailed within two weeks of the second rental.
In order to qualify the renter must be registered as Avis Preferred (which is free if you have a corporate code).
Remember that a free day can have a lot of value in some cities!!
