1. What exactly was changed with the recall?

2. Is it only the phones that have exploded that have defects? Or is every remaining note 7 a ticking time bomb?

Samsung thought it was a battery issue, but it seems that it's a phone design issue. They're all ticking time bombs.

Not sure about that, they would've sent out new batteries but then when they realize its not the issue with the battery itself they would've had to do a recall either way.

I was not planning on returning my "safe" note 7.
Then the news came out that they won't let you fly with it, and I'm flying chol hamoed lax yyz. So now I have no choice.
I ordered a Pixel, will get here about 10/24, but will likely swap with wife for s7 for my trip...
What is everyone else changing to?
