I just got the v20 to play around with, I find it to be a large G5 , clunker Edition.

I'm okay with large phones, the Note 7 isn't bad at all.

The pixel XL also feels good in the hand.

But the v20 is to clutzy

The only reason why I tried it was for the changeable battery.


On the other hand the only disadvantage of the pixel XL is that the battery is embedded, and if not for that, Id definitely go with it.

For now I'll stick to the Note 7, I'll wait for the S8

Don't like it.

I like everything else about the Note 7. There are some downsides to the pixel, for example I don't like the back fingerprint power button.

The pixel doesn't have any major advantages that would make me want to change.

Hmm my phone didnt come with a gallery. All i had was google photos which i hate. I downloaded quickpic from the app store which has been decent.
Seems it's only Sprint based on google.

Eta: sprint is missing alot of apps including gallery, Calender, email, music, and video

Too many crashes, especially when using Gallery, but also some other apps.
Still no batteries for sale directly from LG/Verizon.
Not thrilled about losing FoxFi Wi-Fi.

I've gone back to my Note Edge for now. I will miss double-tap for turning the screen off though.

You haven't activated the fingerprint reader?

What use is double tap if the fingerprint reader is active?

The rumer is that the S8 will have a on screen fingerprint reader, that would be nice.

The biggest issue with Android phones across the board is the software issues that the companies add to the OS. One of the reasons I love HTC.   
Plus I do enjoy external storage and have learned to live with no removable battery.
Samsung should sell Vanilla phones. Actually would be awesome if all phone carriers offered some stock Android options.
