I keep on getting this message when i try to go to american express.com

This webpage is not available
The webpage at http://americanexpress.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.

i need to be get on asap please any SERIOUS help

EDIT: the reason for the take  down and then repost is because it started working for a second then stopped again

Yes. Please note, this link showed Amex site as down at the time of posting. Please also note that this link doesn't always work properly (it only works in some scenarios)

Just google amex login, then choose the third link (atleast with FFox).

Yup, that one works. But Americanexpress.com still seems to be down. They must be having an issue with the main site's landing page (or server routing).

works for me (but delta isnt - go figure). The amex site is new though; I think they rolled it out a few days ago. So its possible theyre doing some updates and such. Esp considering its late sun night and they prob have minimal traffic compared to other times

Yeah, the first time I logged on last week and saw the new big blue buttons login screen, I thought it was a phishing website :)

BTW, just checked as I'm about to shut off computer, and https://home.americanexpress.com/home/axpi/ does show a new "fresh" login screen now, so it looks like they're done updating. (Also, I was able to get to my message center.)
