Whose soft product will be better, El AL or Do All?
I think this calls for a TR.

That site is not very clear: Is it 350, 450, or 500 seats?

Assuming 20 hours of flying for the R/T, it comes out to $347,360, or $772 per seat. That assumes they have 450 seats and sell all of them. We also don't know what other overhead/incidentals they have, and how much try risk losing due to unexpected circumstances. But even if they're profiting $229 per person, they're "only" making $100k.
And I'd guess they charge for the 12 days on the ground too... Or they'd fly it back?

Once we're at it, we might as well buy the plane and fly daily. You guys don't think a frum airline with an average price of $999 round-trip for a non stop flight, can't sell out a once a day flight throughout the year?

Even better we won't have to pay flight attendants. We'll just give Yeshiva Bochrim a discount in exchange for them to work on the flight ;D

I find it interesting the time they picked. Lots of ppl want to fly before YK, and not leave MY.
Though they have more info than me on when peak sukkos demand is, and cost may of been a factor too.

Of course there are a lot of assumptions. They also might have a relationship with a charter company for some discount.

I don't think they're doing it for a profit as much as for getting some free flights but who knows

US Airways. It's good because it's one of the only airlines you can status match to LY.

I'd credit to Virgin Galactic because I'm trying to save up to go to the moon.

The only explanation for the touchdown on BUD is to save on fuel.. If anyone have other info please post.

J and F are not sold out, they are being held by an agent until Monday if he doesn't confirm for 100 percent the seats will go back to inventory.

In any case this is a great great deal.

What I'm wondering is that people in this business who know that these days flight are so expensive always inquired about private charters and the answer always was that there is no way to make money on private especially when they have to be on the ground in TLV for close to 2 weeks. So what happened now?

Is this a charter or not?

Who's accountable if they mess up? Who do you complain to?
I'm really asking, not trying to throw cold water.

Who would you complain to if LY messes up?

That's not an answer. I know you are purposely using LY because they are known for poor customer service, but still, at the end of the day, they are a known company. I have a reasonable expectation that they will deal with problems somewhat professionally.
