No one rents to such young people in Europe.
You need to have x amount of time your license before being able to rent.
Judging by the age you need to be to pass your test, it's impossible to be 18.

You will receive a voucher, so what you filled in is irrelevant.
I wouldn't boast with it, as obviously it's not the idea.
You can place Switzerland as resident as well. (So that it's not supposedly a domestic rental).
The insurances offered have nothing to do with your CC.

Someone did tell me (not sure if true) that your American CC insurance don't want you to involve other insurances, so if ch"v needed, you'd just use your CC insurance, and ignore the included insurances with your rental.

I'm trying to finalize an itinerary.
Have to be in Antwerp (BRU)for shabbos and Sunday in Basel for a trade show the cheapest flights I found (revenue and star alliance) were NYC-FRA. FRA-NYC.
So was going to rent a car and drive, but I juts found out there is a train Saturday night @11:20pm Düchelsdorf to Basel so if I can pick up a OW rental from the train station to FRA I'd be saving a lot of driving time..
