Ok so only in J they give regular meals, so do not need to bring a special meal along

If you keep kosher, you always need to bring a meal along (IMO), given the likelihood of getting something inedible.

Dan really should start a campaign to get KSML's catered by Pomegranate or something.

How did you get availability at the Andaz? They are being so stingy about it unless it looks like a book a full weeks stay
