Paypal just permanently limited my account (meaning I have to close it) is there any way to open a new one with the same info? (Name bank cc etc.)

Was sent money and sent that money right away to a dif. Acct so they said it looked fraudulent and put a permanent limitation on it

they just limited my account also an di have 1500$$ in there that i NEEDDD!!!
im so annoyed at them and they keep asking me for more and more info.
they wont let me take my money out and i cant even supply them the info they want now. and there's still a chance they wont take that limit off..
anyone have experience on how to get the money out asap???
stupid keybank idea.... now im screwed.

If paypal takes your money then you are screwed, but you might want to give them a call or email to try to sort it out.

i did the keybank direct deposit one time- depostied 2 amounts into paypal and than did 3 sep deposits in keybank. and they than limited my account. so i called them and spoke with a guy and he asked me loads of random q's and said hell take the limitation off. well than i recieved an email sayin they need XYZ all my bank info that needs to be the same address as my paypal- which they are not all cus i moved and have diff addresses on diff accounts- and until they have those actual papers by fax- email is no good- than they can take the next step. i called again and the supervisor didnt care to help unless i send in those papers. im so screwed. i wanna just cancel my account and take my money out but NOO OF COURSE THEY GET TO KEEP MY MONEY!! morons

I just found out they claim I had multiple accounts when I explained to them that I only had 2 and the second one was for Canada as it was Paypal.CA they said they can't give me any info but there was more than 3 accounts (they can give more info just that it was more than 3) that they believed were mine and all in the USA so therefore there us no way to reopen it.
I did not open all those accounts is there any way to fight it? Our to just reopen my account? (I thank g-d did not lose money but it would be nice to have a Paypal account again)

I use paypal a lot. I wouldn't call them thieves, more like jerks.

Please share incidents of why you call them thieves.

I just am so annoyed, as their system is way messed up. I sell on eBay and an always getting fraudulent payments. For some reason their system isnt detecting this.

If I would ship the item, before they tell me that its a suspicious charge, even though I would be covered the money would be frozen for about a month. (I currently have over 2K frozen) GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I use paypal all the time I never had a problem. I used to have a canadian acc. and in order to open one in the U.S. they made me close the canadian acc. I was told by someone who ownes an ebay store never to leave any money in your paypal account cuz they always find reasons to freeze or make extra charges.

I try not to leave much money in my papal account, I transfer out about 2 times a week.

I actually have 3 paypal accounts. They never made a problem for that, its just as a seller and using them as the payment processing its a pain, as the seller always has the lower hand, and they don't disclose any info from the buyer to you.

I had an interesting charge-back last month that I lost $500, if I was in contact direct with the CC Bank I deff would have won.

What's annoying is that they basically only allow PayPal on eBay, supposedly to fight fraud:

1. eBay should never have been allowed to buy PayPal.
2. The FTC (or whichever regulators) should force them to allow other payment methods on ebay (and I don't mean the way they half-@$$edly allow them currently).
