I sell maybe 2 items a year on eBay and use Paypal to accept payments for them. For the past 2 years Paypal has been randomly sending me emails saying they are placing a hold on my account that when I receive payments, I won't be able to withdraw the money for 21 days. Then a couple months later they will send another email saying they are lifting the 21 day restriction.

Really Paypal? I've had my Paypal account since 1999 and only sell 2 items a year but apparently I'm a big risk........

Glad I read this thread. I've had a few hundred dollars sitting in my paypal account for a while, gonna go withdraw it before I encounter any issues.

It's ridiculous and I've stopped using Paypal whenever I can. Amazon payments for me now.

I haven't found amazon way better... I have had $6000 frozen for 2 months with them

I was selling on amazon for a year or so before than occasionally. Then I started selling a lot...

They just randomly froze my account for a sellers review for 2 Months.

Any one with any experience or advice or someone familiar with fighting a $25k chargeback with paypal that they gave it back for buyer , but I have not had any bank linked so the paypal account os actually -$25k , how will this hit my name or what

I applied for PayPal here, and got declined 2 days later because they couldn't "verify" my corporation. I called 2 days later, and they said if they want they will call me back. 3 days later I called again, and was told that they can't verify, and no, they don't want any paperwork and finish. I asked if I'm banned for life? He said, "I think" you can reapply in 90 days. And few minutes later I see that PayPal pulled my credit report.

I once bought an item that was limited to 'one per customer' from best buy through my PayPal account, I then bought another one through PayPal guest checkout with a different credit card, different email address and different shipping address (same billing address)

PayPal closed me down. What's the best way to proceed?

It's worth it until you get the email. I stopped when I got it, and I haven't had any issues.

Thanx. Especialy since PP reloads happen to be cheaper than vanilla.
