my apologies if this was mentioned already....but with global entry you can use the fast lanes (sentri/nexus) when entering the usa from canada..

I applied for global entry and amex still didn't reimburse me, all I have left to pay is the annual fee and I want to cancel so I should not have to lay out the money and wait for the reimbursement.
if I cancel the platinum card before they reimburse will amex reimburse me to my other amex account or will I forfeit the $50?

I did it online for myself and one if my AU'S and it was 50 for each of us where does it say anywhere 100?

Technically, AmEx will reimburse your $100 GE application fee.

Practically, I have read reports of AmEx giving a full $100 reimbursement triggered by the US Customs Nexus $50 application fee. But, as you seem to be pointing out, YMMV.

if I only got charged $50 does that mean I only got the nexus and not ge?

yes I just checked online and in my application it says nexus and ge and it was $50 so I think that settles that
