Just got a little annoyed that I couldn't use the Nexus lanes on a trip to Canada last week, even though I have GE

I sold my credit to someone and by mistake gave the same cc number to a different guy (and he used it on the spot) so I contacted the first one to use a different cc and he ended up using the first cc

What now? I don’t even know which one to dispute (if I can in the first place) as they where both done today

Is there anything I can do about it?
how can you dispute the charge? Add this to the mistakes thread

Because he obviously doesn't have Nexus.
I sold my credit to someone and by mistake gave the same cc number to a different guy (and he used it on the spot) so I contacted the first one to use a different cc and he ended up using the first cc

What now? I don’t even know which one to dispute (if I can in the first place) as they where both done today

I once used the same cc twice and it credited for both of the charges

(Im NOT looking to steal here I’m just trying to work something out, if I can, without having to charge the guy $100)

actually two hours before he made the transaction he told me he wont use that card!

Nowhere in any of your previous posts did you mention he acknowledged your mistake.
so then it is his fault not Amex's
Certainly not Amex.
I’d go with both are at partial fault and should split the cost.

You could try calling Amex and saying you forgot you charged GE to this card before. See what they say. How long ago was it charged?

Both meaning the OP and the first buyer that acknowledged the credit card change (before he swiped) and still used the incorrect one.

The second buyer that used it right away is definitely at no fault.
