See up thread... They stopped accepting walk ins, so can I confirm from the past Monday, big YMMV.

Keep on checking, especially at night it keeps on opening up.

They did me this week no more walk ins.
But they've opened much more shots for appointments.

So how does it work with children (3 year old and an infant) do I have to apply for all of them in order to use Global Entry?

Yes. Fingerprinting an infant might be a challenge though.

In JFK a few days ago I saw some machines on the left side where people were heading out very quick as well. what is that?

They first introduce Global Entry, I (don't) pay $100 for myself, wife and 2 kids so that I can just scan my passport at the kiosk, then they place different kiosks for the general public doing exactly the same thing.

actually it was the airlines who paid for those new machines for the general public

I have platinum and was able to get 3 more AU on my account to get GE. Problem is I have a son who is 17. I added him to also be AU and they denied him cuz he's too young for CC. I told them I already have other CC's for him (including AMEX) and no problem. Is there any way to get GE for him for free or only with his own AU plat?

The person applying for GE doesn't have to be the cardholder paying for it.
