I read through a few pages...

Can someone chime in with personal experience?  I am traveling with wife, kids, and mother's helper.  Is this kidai, for the 'front of line' part of the benefit?
Officially when using global Entry everyone in the group need to have it, however IME just print out your GE receipt  then ask the officer for assistance with the rest of the group, he might tell you that everyone needs GE but he'll send you to the front of the line

in general is your receipt enough to get that? Ill be done with the process but probably wont have the actual card yet on an upcoming trip; can i get any benefit of GE?

I don't think they'd take too kindly to one person with GE cutting the line for the whole group.

You don't need your card to use GE at the airport, I believe its enough if you were approved

At most airports theres multiple lines for passport control including one for flight crew/diplomats & GE problems

yes.
That's what they told me at my interview.  They gave me a receipt that works immediately.

You need nothing at the airport. Just your fingerprints

has anyone needed anything more than license/passport at the interview, like other proofs of address/ residency, or other ID?

They asked for a utility bill at my nexus interview. Not sure if a license would have worked

I don't remember details, but I brought with me more than they asked for.  I didn't need it.  They tell you what to bring on their website.

Datapoint: I applied on June 11 for GE.  I got the approval today (June 23).  The technical earliest for the interview for one or two spots was within a day or two, but I needed multiple slots.  The earliest I could get was July 6.

I had to wait on three of the apps (due to waiting for the passports to arrive), and I just did them today.  Hopefully, I'll have the approval and interview quick enough before we leave.

Enrolled my 2 year old and 3 month old yesterday at MIA.
MIA has a ton of open slots and they are open until 10pm.

As expected, the fingerprint scanner did not work for their little fingers so the officer applied the "no fingerprint" waiver to their accounts. When you go through the kiosk returning to the US, there is a button to press for the "no fingerprint" waiver and the receipt will print and you can exit like a any other GE member.

Receive one Global Entry statement credit ($100) or one TSA Prestatement credit ($85) every 5 years for an application fee charged to an eligible American Express® Card
is the 5 year enforced, the way the $200 airline credit is?

I had another plat which recieved the credit in early 2013. closed that account then. opened a new account recently. will I get the credit?

or do I need to create an AU on a different name than the AU which recieved the credit last year?

No.
Thanks, just wasn't sure if I should put her married last name on the app and then just not use hers until she changes her name. Will she have to bring old ID/proof of name change with her to the airport?

ETA: Oh, there's a section for "other previous last names". Should I put her future name in there?
