It seems like all appointments have to be made far in advance. I'm trying to make in EWR or JFK and if it's within two weeks, I can never find. Any ideas? I can't know my plans so far in advance.
Keep checking or check other places

Any way to register for Global Entry with a non-US address?
On their website it says that GE is also available to citizens of the UK and some select other countries, not sure how that works though.
Anyone have experience with this?

Update: As long as you're a US citizen you can apply for GE. No matter where in the world you live.

Scheduled landing in JFK at 7.05pm.
Will I have enough time to make it to my 7.45pm interview?

Landing - domestic or international? Bags or no bags?

You can come a few minutes late.

+1. Find out when they close but IME, appointment time means you come then and sign in and get called over 30 min later to meet the officer.

I have an appointment in JFK tomorrow for Global Entry ::)...

I tried calling Friday and Tonight (before 8:00) to find out if my appointment is still on due to the snow, but the phone lines were busy or no one answered. Is there a chance that the office will be closed tomorrow even though they didn't contact me?

I wouldn't go either way. Just reschedule it when possible. Not worth driving in this weather

Why? I assume they will plow the snow the whole night, by tomorrow morning it should be safe to drive. If I know for sure they are open I would probably go.

I just made the $100 purchase on my Plat. I want to downgrade it to PRG, PGGM another $100 and then cancel. Can I leave a $200 balance on my account? I will for sure the $100 GE reimbursement even though my card will become a PRG and be cancelled?

I have a GE appointment which I need to reschedule (unfortunately). I have a flight arriving into JFK at 6:20 from NRT (business) and we will have luggage. Latest GE appointments that day are 7:30 and 7:45. Is that enough time to get to the GE office after going through customs and everything else?

If you had GE I'd say yes.

Applied for my baby's GE a few days after getting passport. got approved, but delayed the journey to the GE office until 5 months later..

We had flow from LAX multiple times but had thought we would need to wait for an appointment etc, and were not willing to come early and schedule for the day of a flight.

We were in costco right near LAX so we did a walk in - they did not ask if we had an appointment.

We said it was for our baby - they gave us a number and 5 minutes later we were in getting the photo. They said they no longer require fingerprints for baby's (under 5?).

All in all, if your in LAX, it's well worth trying a walk in. Miami, when i checked had available appointments almost all day every day for months - so flying through there i definitely recommend popping in for a walk in.

I think maybe we should make a Wiki for GE walk in friendly places?
