there is no age limit. If the child is capable of doing it they will let him do it.

Each person has to make there own login to apply , so you don't split payment, you finish paying for the first and then you pay for the 2nd. The appointment is done at a later date when they send you a email that you are conditionally approved and you need to book a appointment.

Each person must compete their own application online and at the end you pay the fee. Theres no split tender. Then schedule appointments as available. If you schedule say 2 and 2:30 appointments they'll take you together. Usually you can get multiple appointments at the same time.

They just opened up tons of appointment slots in JFK for (almost) the whole January.

January is empty again.

April has a few available dates in the Manhattan location (Bowling Green) if you don't need it right away and rather not schlep to the airport. Nothing else showing available there after these April dates for the rest of the year.

You can renew online, but you won't know about needing another interview until after you renew. Some people have to go in, others don't. Might depend on where you've traveled.
