I just got my wife a new passport last week after almost 8 years of marriage.
Took her this long to fully commit?

I have booked my wife's tickets under the married name by mistake, never had any issues.

Never saw the point in switching any of my wife's things to her married name. Socially she's known as her married name, but legally, I don't see it being worth the hassle.

You can do GE with mismatching license and passport? Or you just never switched the license?

Like I said already, you can.
But clearly Mrs AJK never switched her license.

If you love your wife its best to make it as difficult as possible for her to leave.

That's how I see it.

True, Good to hear two reports of it not being an issue.

Lol!

Anyhow, thank you everyone for your input, my wife's app for GE was submitted with her maiden info, so that solves that! (Looking to travel within the next month or 2, so to have GE before that with changing passport with not paying expedite fee nearly impossible)

As i have posted in the GE thread, ny wife applied for GE under her new name, and at the interview she was told that it will be issued under her maiden name to match her passport, and when she gets a new passport she has to stop by a GE office (without an appointment) to have her name updated

So I did it the other way, I submitted under her maiden name.

That's fine. It goes by the PP. You would want to bring the marriage license to the interview to explain the DL though.
