That's fine. It goes by the PP. You would want to bring the marriage license to the interview to explain the DL though.
Good idea to bring the marriage certificate, thanks!

They may not look at it, but they definitely should officially.

I know this was already discussed, but people at Social Security office claimed that old passport is invalid once you change your name with them. Sounds like they don’t know what they’re talking about, but can anyone provide DPs?

Thanks.

I can. They're wrong.

(Didn't get a new SS card, just notified them of a legal name change as required.)

Any reason it would be different if ordered a new card?

No need for a new passport.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I've been flying on my maiden name for the past 3.5 years now. Never had any issues.
Everything else is already long changed to my married name including SS card.

(Randomly, the only person to ever comment was the clerk at the bus ticketing desk in PRG who was mad that my cc doesnt match my passport... In the end she let me buy the bus tickets anyway...)

Same like the phone calls I get daily that my Social Security is suspended. I guess now I know the reason

One just needs to remember to book tickets with the same name as the passport, many times even with a marriage license you will have issues checking in of not on the same name

and bring the marriage certificate when you fly, just in case
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Might work for the American carriers, but not for many foreign carriers

PSA: If your license has your married name but your SSN still has your maiden name, you wont be able to get an enhanced license. (at least in NY)
